A 33-year-old man was on Sunday evening in his car at the intersection of rue Général de Gaulle and rue Libon in Droixhe when another moving car passed nearby. A person in the latter fired multiple shots at the man who was in his stationary vehicle. He was hit several times and the shooter’s car then fled.
Transported to the Bruyères hospital by his brother who was nearby, the man lost his life shortly after his admission.
The facts are qualified as murder by the Liège prosecutor’s office, which was still looking for the motive on Monday evening. The first elements seem to indicate a settling of accounts.
