This Saturday morning, rue de Harlez, in the Fragnée district of Liège, was the sad scene of a murder, learned La Meuse. According to our information, a man was stabbed by another individual. The latter fled, leaving his victim dying on the spot.
The information is confirmed by the prosecution. “These are two people residing illegally”, confirms for the moment Damien Leboutte, division prosecutor.
Emergency services were quickly called to the scene. When they arrived, there was unfortunately nothing more to be done to save him. The man died on the spot.
At the time of writing these lines, the author is still at large. The Liège public prosecutor’s office is down, as well as the PJF lab.
Rue de Harlez was closed to traffic for the purposes of the investigation and in particular, to let the laboratory work.
