An incident on Bouygues Telecom’s fixed network deprived many subscribers of connection this Friday, April 15. The operator apologized, but the damage was done.
“You may be having difficulty using your Bbox services mainly in the south of Ile-de-France. We are doing everything we can to restore the situation as soon as possible. Some services have been gradually returning since 5 p.m. it is with this simple tweet that Bouygues Telecom warned its subscribers yesterday of an ongoing outage on its network.
Your communication is so light, no excuses, no justification on the problem.
you approach it like it’s “normal” when tens of thousands of people can’t work because of YOUR incident…

A communication considered too late by some customers who lost their connection for many hours and this much earlier in the day. Cut in full videoconference, impossibility of continuing its tasks in telework, the incident intervened at the worst moment, and will remain without justification. Something to stir up discontent on social networks.
According to the downdetector site and a host of subscriber feedback, these disruptions on the operator’s network also affected other regions in France, particularly in the south but also several large cities such as Marseille, Lyon, Nice or Toulouse. The mobile network was also impacted in places. The operator finally notified around 9 p.m. that the incident had been resolved. Subscribers will have to make do with a terse apology message: “Our apologies for the inconvenience caused. We wish you a good evening with your Bbox services and a great weekend”.
