A major collision between three cars left two injured, including one seriously, on the N4 in Rhisnes. A Dodge RAM coming from Temploux and taking rue de l’Aérodrome crossed the main road, while a Ford Puma arrived from Gembloux driven by a young man. The two vehicles collided violently, with the Ford being thrown across the road. At this moment a Mercedes SLS arrived.

The Ford hit the latter, both vehicles ending up on the shoulder. Firefighters from the Nage zone of the Namur station, under the orders of Lieutenant Yves Paquot-Servais, went to the scene with a pumper, a marking vehicle, an ambulance as well as an ambulance from the Namur Red Cross and the SMUR from the Notre-Dame de Gosselies clinic.

The driver of the Ford, very seriously injured, had to be extricated, then taken in serious condition to the Meuse CHRSM site. The passenger in the Mercedes, who had participated in the Televised day organized in Temploux, injured but less seriously, was taken to the Sainte-Élisabeth clinic at the CHU-UCL Namur.

Two police teams from the Namur Highway Police (WPR) were responsible for the findings and road markings on this busy route. The Cassart wrecker was called upon to remove the wreckage from the three vehicles.
