The interrupted flight
Air Senegal, which operates flight HC427, was forced to land the plane at Marseille airport “due to an operational constraint”, she explains on son site Internet.

A bus was set up to pick up the passengers in order to bring them back to their starting point. Except that around 3 p.m., it caught fire on the A7 motorway near Valence, reports The Dauphine.
A tire would have burst and generated a start of fire which caused significant smoke, according to the regional daily. The 41 passengers, who were not injured, were taken care of in another vehicle to finally reach Lyon.
Air Senegal did not comment on this misadventure during the transfer by coach. It only indicates that it provides for “a rerouting to Dakar, in accordance with the legislation in force, within 24 hours”.
