A piece of iron flew out of nowhere to a vehicle that was running on the highway, and a dizzying incident broke out through the window.
It was a piece of metal that had fallen from a truck that was running ahead.

Yesterday morning, a car was running on the 1st lane on the Jungbu Expressway in Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.
A lump of iron flew from the side of the truck that was traveling in the second lane before suddenly collided with the windshield.
“Aww! Are you hurt?”
The lump of iron that struck the front windshield of the passenger seat pierced through the rear window as it was.
The front and rear windshields of the vehicle were shattered.

“Something flew and hit our car. Literally ‘bang’…”
Not only the driver, but also the wife in the passenger seat and the mother-in-law and daughter in the backseat avoided a lump of iron with a short drive.

“I saw something like an iron pipe, so I thought I was going to die like this, but I’m glad there’s nothing wrong with my body…”
The identity of the lump of iron flying out of nowhere is a ‘plate spring’ for trucks.
It is a shock absorber installed under the vehicle to absorb the impact applied from the road surface.
Some truck drivers use it as a support to load more items into the loader and drop it in an accident.
In 2018, the driver was struck and killed by a leaf spring that flew from the Jungbu Expressway, and in May, the driver was injured due to the leaf spring that a truck stepped on.
The police are investigating whether the truck ahead dropped the leaf spring, or whether it bounced off the road by stepping on it.
