While providing the latest information about counter-terrorism operations so far this year, the DG of the Public Relations Department of the Army said that 22,409 intelligence-based operations were conducted against terrorists and their facilitators. While more than 112 operations are being conducted daily by the army and law enforcement agencies against terrorism.
Lt. General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that security forces have conducted a total of 22,409 intelligence-based operations against terrorism this year. During this time 398 terrorists were killed. DG ISPR said that 31 most wanted terrorists were killed during this period. This year, 137 officers and jawans lost their lives in the operation to end terrorism.

CTD has 537 field operators in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Since 2014, we have been hearing that madrasas have to be regularized. More than 50 percent of Madrasahs do not know who is running them.
DG ISPR said that ‘anti-terrorism courts were created to deal with terrorism. According to Necta, there are 13 ATC courts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and nine in Balochistan.
According to him: ‘There are millions of non-custom paid vehicles in Pakistan. Millions and billions of business is being done by these vehicles and these vehicles are also used by terrorists. Afghan citizens carry visas to other countries. Why is the border of our country kept as a soft border?’
He said that agreements were also signed in 2014 and 2021 to deal with terrorism. All political parties and parties have signatures on them.’
