Aranza Maria Ochoa Lopez, a young girl, was abducted at the age of 4 on October 25, 2018 by her biological mother. She had gone with her to a mall in Vancouver. The little girl was living with a foster family following several abuses from her biological mother.
If the mother, Esmeralda Lopez-Lopez, was arrested in 2019 and sentenced to 20 months in prison, the daughter remained untraceable for a long time. The police, however, always kept an eye on Aranza. Recently, their work paid off as the little girl was found in Mexico. “Special agents brought her back to the United States. For more than four years, we have not given up on her,” an FBI agent said.
The living conditions of the little girl who is now 8 years old in Mexico have not been disclosed.
