A launch earlier than expected, for the beginning of the third quarter

A launch this summer of the Ada Lovelace generation would be a maneuver quite close to the launch of the RTX 2000 under the Turing architecture. Indeed, this generation was announced during Gamescom 2018 which took place at the end of August. In short, there is not much time left to wait before knowing more. Especially as we wait a potential announcement of the RTX 4000 by NVIDIA on May 23 during the NVIDIA Keynote.

The latest rumors also talk about performances easily twice as high on the RTX 4090 compared to the RTX 3090. We know that the L2 cache could be drastically increased, in the order of 16 times and we would still be on the same GDDR6X type memory with the same quantities, at least concerning the RTX 4090. All rumors agree on a TDP of 600W concerning the big RTX 4090 card. Remember that the TDP of the 3090 is 350W and 450W for the RTX 3090 Ti.
About the RTX 4080, we are on the AD103 GPU supported by 16 GB of memory at a speed of 19 Gbps for a TDP of 450W. That of the RTX 3080 is 320W. Finally, for the RTX 4070 it is the AD104 GPU assisted by 12 GB of memory at a speed of 18 Gbps for a TDP of 300W. In comparison, the TDP of the RTX 3070 was 220W.
