A landlord and his tenant win the lottery on the same day

Two inhabitants of Chaudière-Appalaches, an owner and his tenant, were surprised to discover that they had both won the lottery on the same day thanks to tickets purchased at the same convenience store.

It was while talking that the two men discovered that not only had they won the same day, but that they had both bought their winning tickets at the Tradition Ste-Perpétue market in Sainte-Perpétue.

Ghislain Gauvin, tenant, won $50,000 in the La Mini draw on July 8. He said he intended to use the money to spoil his only daughter. This was his first draw.

Its owner, Robert Chouinard, won $25,000 with his wife Annie Giroux at the Extra, which they play regularly, the same day. The couple will take the opportunity to buy new furniture in their first home.
