A Kuwaiti girl with a diplomatic passport provokes an interaction with a video of her support for gays, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responds

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists circulated on social media a video clip of a Kuwaiti girl holding a diplomatic passport and the statements she made in support of homosexuals, which sparked an interaction.

For its part, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement: “Commenting on what is being circulated on social media regarding a comment by a girl who claims to belong to the Kuwaiti diplomatic community and supports homosexuals, the ministry confirmed that the girl referred to does not belong to the Kuwaiti diplomatic corps. .”

The ministry added that the girl “is not an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” noting that “the diplomatic passport she holds has expired and she obtained it when her father was working in one of the technical offices of a government agency attached to the embassy…”

The ministry added that the girl’s father “has ended his duties and his and his family’s passports have been revoked.”
