Al-Marsad newspaper: A Kuwaiti bought a phone from a woman through a website, and following he opened the box following receiving it, he was surprised by a strange message instead of the phone.
According to “Kuwaiti news accounts”, a Kuwaiti was subjected to a fraud following he decided to buy a phone as a gift for his wife, as he bought the phone through a famous website for 400 dinars (1300 dollars), and received it from a woman in the Salmiya area in Hawalli Governorate, following he handed her the price of the device.
When he arrived at the house and opened the box, he did not find the phone, and found a message from the lady that included an apology for taking the money she needed it, “as she put it.
And the letter stated that “the woman who took the money claimed that she needed it, and claimed that she was poor, an orphan, indebted to others, and that she had no housing for her and her son, and that she took the money temporarily and will return it to him following two days.”
