The ruling deputy Rodolfo Tailhade expressed his disgust at the interview that the president Alberto Fernandez granted to canal TN this Wednesday, in the midst of the repercussions for the request for 12 years in prison for Cristina Kirchner. “It bothers me that he goes today [por ayer]”, affirmed the Kirchnerist legislator to TV Chronicle.
Tailhade, a member of the hard core of the Frente de Todos, questioned, in the preview, the moment chosen by the President to give an interview to the Grupo Clarín channel. “The opportunity annoys me. It doesn’t bother me that it goes generic (sic); it bothers me that he goes today [por ayer]”, Tailhade clarified.
And he expanded: “48 hours ago a prosecutor asked for 12 years in prison in a case in which that channel, to which he is going to go, has a lot to do. [También] those people who work there, the owners of the channel, and the newspapers that are replicas of what they do on the channel”.
Fernandez made an appearance on the show the two voices, conducted by Marcelo Bonelli and Edgardo Alfano. There he did statements regarding the legal status of Cristina Kirchner, and also referred to the current situation in Argentina following changes in the Ministry of Economy.
Previously, Tailhade questioned the editorial line of the media and rejected that the head of state attend the studios. “That channel permanently insults the vice president and her family, and persecutes her,” she added.

Fernández attached to his message a statement on behalf of the national government, where it was noted “the judicial and media persecution once morest the vice president.”
And he underlined: “The government reiterates its adherence to the constitutional principle of innocence and to the full validity of the democratic functioning of justice, the right to defense and equality before the law and will continue to fight for a judicial reform that guarantees these values for everyone”.
