The price of gold jumped today, Saturday, in Egypt, at a value of 15 pounds during today’s trading, compared to the morning’s transactions, according to Naguib Club, the former Secretary of the Gold Division in the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.
And gold declined yesterday due to the decline in the price of the dollar last Thursday, 4 piasters in the National Bank, to record 18.28 pounds for purchase, and 18.38 pounds for sale.
Gold prices have witnessed major jumps in the local market in the past weeks, affected by the price of the metal globally, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as by the rise in the price of the dollar against the pound.

14 karat gold prices rose to 660 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold increased to 848 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 karat gold jumped to 990 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 carat gold was about 1131 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound rose at 7920 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.

And the global price of gold fell at $ 1957.6 an ounce, or 0.23% at the end of trading yesterday, according to CNBC data.
