The Giza Court of First Instance decided to seize the wages of the artist Ahmed El-Fishawy, for his latest film, “Awe,” which is being filmed, and obligating the company producing this film to pay 1,170,000 pounds of El-Fishawy’s wages for the film “Awe” by producer Nahed Farid Shawky.
The executive version of the judgment in Case No. 1294 of 2017, a total civilian in Giza, included a warning obligating the company producing the movie “Awe” to pay one million and 170 thousand pounds to Nahed Farid Shawqi’s company.
Producer Nahed Farid Shawqi obtained a final ruling to seize El-Fishawy’s wages, in the film The Awe, which is currently being filmed.
Hussein Hilal, the legal advisor to the producer, Nahed Farid Shawqi, began implementing the booking procedures by announcing the producer of the movie “Awe”, by deducting from the wages of the artist Ahmed El-Fishawy an amount of one million and 170 thousand pounds, and paying this amount to “Nahed Farid Shawky” in lawsuit No. 1294 of 2017, completely civil Giza After the producer, Nahed Farid Shawky, obtained a ruling to continue with the implementation.
The company producing the movie “Awe” was announced with reservations on August 30, and Ahmed Al-Fishawy announced the reservation of his wages with the company on September 1, which requires the producing company to refrain from paying any of Al-Fishawy’s wage payments from the date of the company’s announcement of the reservation.
The lawyer for the producer, Nahed Farid Shawqi, said in a press statement that the company producing the movie “Awe” in the event that it admits falsehood or hides the papers that must be deposited in accordance with the text of Article 343 of the pleadings law, the company producing the film and the amount seized will bear the payment of this amount in addition to the necessary compensation.
He added that the producer, Nahid Farid Shawqi, will not hesitate to seize al-Fishawy’s wages for any work that any production company may initiate to contract with al-Fishawy, until it fulfills the full amount ruled.
