A man was found hanging from a barrier this Friday morning in Plainevaux. In his car, a two-year-old girl, alive, was found. Later in the morning, the body of a 14-year-old girl was found along a wood in Ougrée.
As confirmed by the prosecutor of the King of Liège, the two deaths were linked. The teenager and the two-year-old girl had been wanted since Thursday, they who are from Anderlecht. Our colleagues from Sudinfo, according to a source familiar with the matter, claim that the two girls are sisters. The man who killed himself allegedly contacted the 14-year-old via social media and offered to go shopping, which she accepted, deciding to take her little sister with her.
Benjamin, a local jogger, told our colleagues that he discovered the young woman’s body near the woods.
“I was running when suddenly I saw two feet, five meters from the path. I thought of a mannequin. What is amazing is that no one stopped before me, because the victim was visible. I approached and that’s where I saw the body of the teenager. Immediately, I called the police, and then my mother”, he confides to our colleagues.
Before detailing: “On the phone, the lady from the police dispatch asked me to approach the body to see if the person was alive. I approached regarding a meter. I saw immediately that the girl was dead. And it was clearly a homicide. Because there was a big stone, I should say a rock, five feet by five feet, very heavy, on the head and on the chest. It was horrible. There was dried blood on the head“, he confides.
