“A hen on a wall…”: Apple advertises the photo and video prowess of the iPhone 14 Pro!

Which of the egg or the apple came first? Here is a theme that Apple particularly likes. Indeed, last year it was Michel Gondry, who promoted the iPhone 13 Pro with the wacky A dozen eggs.

This year, she offers Chasewhich begins with the desperate flight of a gallinaceous, through a fight scene in a Chinese restaurant, a stop motion animation, a wolf and snow scene (hybrid between GOT and The 100), a car chase and a helicopter ride! All at breakneck speed!

At any point we see a filmmaker using the iPhone 14 Pro, the video ending with the tagline Our most professional camera ever. This is obviously to highlight the camera features of the iPhone 14 Pro with its 48 megapixels, Action mode when capturing videos, cinematic mode and zoom options.

As a reminder, this year Apple has greatly improved the photo and video performance of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, with a 65% wider 48-megapixel main sensor opening at f/1.78 with 2.44-micron photocells. Snapshots will remain 12 megapixels so as not to take up too much space (pixel binning on 4 pixels) and we can zoom X2 in the sensor. The sensor has also been optimized to take advantage of the ProRAW format in 48 megapixels.

For its part, the Ultra wide angle remains in 12 megapixels, opens at ƒ2.2, offers a Macro mode. The flash has also been completely redesigned to provide better brightness. Video performance is also evolving, notably with a Cinematic mode now available in 4K at 30 or 24 frames per second.
