On Wednesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed the truth of the video clip circulating on social media platforms, which shows a man carrying a woman in the street following he “killed her”.
The Ministry of Interior indicated that “the identity of the person appearing in the video was identified,” and asked regarding “the circumstances of the incident,” according to a statement on its page with “B”Facebook”.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Interior, the incident is old and occurred 3 months ago, and the person shown in the video revealed that the woman referred to is his “wife”, as he quarreled with her and during that time she lost consciousness, so he carried her and took her to the apartment where they lived.
Activists on social media circulated a video clip showing a person carrying a “woman”, commenting on him that she was “his wife and he killed her in a street in the Sixth of October District”, which is located in Giza Governorate.
The wife was summoned and supported what her “husband” said, stressing that it was “just marital disagreements”, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Interior’s statement.
