Morocco – The Moroccan team RS Berkane will host Egyptian Zamalek this Sunday evening at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane in the first leg of the 2024 African Confederation Cup final.
The Referees Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) assigned the task of officiating the match between RS El Berkane and its guest Zamalek this evening at exactly (22:00) GMT and (20:00) local time, to a refereeing team led by Kenyan referee Peter Waweru Kamako, and assisted by his compatriots. Gilbert Kibukich Cheruiyot, Stephen Eleazar Oningo, and Burundian Pacific Ndabihawinimana as fourth official.
Zamalek Club defeats Nahdet Berkane in a repeat of the 2019 final, in which luck smiled at the Egyptian team on penalty kicks, but following five years have passed, Nahdet Berkane has gained great experience on the continental scene, winning two titles in 2020 and 2022.
