A good story. In Liège, two young people discovered a bag full of stolen phones near the Médiacité gallery. Via a call on Facebook, they undertook to return them to all owners.
These two cousins made the happiness of many unlucky ones. “We heard a ringtone in a bush, we didn’t understand. We went to check and we found a big bag. We came across stolen phones”they say.
In the bag they discovered, there were about ten telephones. Yassine and Ilias try to return them to their owners. “Do not hesitate to contact us. I hope we will make people happy”, dit Ilias.
Ilias and his cousin posted a video on social media. Images very quickly shared and commented on by dozens of Internet users. “I made the video to make as many phones as possible. I was happy for the other people”, adds Ilias.
They managed to contact some victims, like Florelle who was celebrating August 15 in Liège when her phone was stolen. Ilias gave it back to him the next day.
“When I saw him arrive, I said to myself that people still have a good heart. It’s nice. I didn’t expect it, and I thank him”, confides Florelle.
“There are happy people, with a big smile. I do this just for the smile”, concludes Ilias.
The two cousins have already returned half of the phones to their owner. Tomorrow, they will drop off those who remain with the police.
