On December 3, 1969, Al Kawakeb magazine published a handwritten letter from the young artist Adel Emam To the star Faten Hamama, in which he invites her to return to the cinema once more, at a time when she has been away from art for more than 3 years, and the letter reveals the extent of Adel Imam’s appreciation of the star Faten Hamama, which he likened in his letter to gold mines that need to be discovered for many years.
And Adel Imam’s message said: “Futuna.. and allow me to call you by this name and with the beginning of the new year.. I wish you all to return to your audience.. your place is still present and it is impossible to compensate you and it is impossible to find one like you, you are like gold mines that need to be discovered for many years.” …and the Prophet, O charming, do not sleep more than this.”
Whenever the artist Adel Imam was asked regarding the best artists, his answer was quick and clear, “Faten Hamama, of course.” Rather, he describes her as “the greatest artists in Egypt who did not come like them.” She bore the name “The Witch” in 1971, and Faten Hamama, Saeed Saleh and Salah Zulfikar participated in it.
