A plan to reconstruct the Yeouido and Hanyang Apartments in Seoul to a maximum of 60 and 50 floors, respectively, is being promoted.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the maintenance industry on the 7th, the city of Seoul held a briefing session for the residents of the pilot apartment and Hanyang apartment on the 28th of last month and released a draft of the rapid integration plan.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is discussing ways to increase the floor area ratio by upgrading the use of these three types of residential areas to quasi-residential or commercial areas.
At the end of last year, the pilot apartment and Hanyang apartment were selected as the application complex for rapid integration planning, and related procedures have been carried out.
The pilot apartment, completed in December 1971, is the oldest complex in Yeouido at 52 years old.
Currently, it consists of a total of 1584 households with a maximum of 13 floors and 24 buildings. If reconstructed according to the plan, the maximum number of floors will increase to 60 floors and 2,400 households.
Hanyang Apartment, built in 1975, has a maximum of 12 floors and 588 households, and is expected to be transformed into a maximum of 50 floors and 1,000 households through reconstruction.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to announce the final plan following public public announcements in the second half of the year.
