The BCJ had a good first half of 2022. The Banque cantonale du Jura published its results on Monday, late followingnoon. Operating profit increased by 1.1% compared to the same period last year to stand at 9.8 million francs. Net profit also shows a slight increase of 2.9% and amounts to 8.1 million francs. The balance sheet shows an increase of 4.5% compared to December 31, 2021 and amounts to 4.3 billion francs. The increase is explained in particular by advances to customers of 109.7 million francs. The BCJ notes that these figures reflect “the smooth running of business and augur well for a good 2022 financial year, in line with the previous one”. /comm-fco
