It is a rare drug whose only commonality with cocaine is the name. It is essentially a mixture of ketamine with stimulants such as ecstasy or speed. According to a report from Spain’s El Pais, “pink cocaine” is considered a luxury drug and is mainly consumed in electronic music venues, nightclubs and parties. Sometimes it smells like strawberry and has various names like “tushi” and “tushibi”.
A single gram can cost $90, $100 or $120, and according to the Spanish media, the reason for its high price is due to its misleading name, as “many traders take advantage of the fact that customers confuse one substance with another and sell everything at a high cost, regardless of the type of drug.”
In addition to “pink cocaine”, the police also found cannabis and cocaine in his possession, while in a search of his house they found, among other things
- 12 airtight plastic packages containing hydroponically grown cannabis with a total gross weight of 12,930 grams,
- three improvised aluminum foil packages containing cocaine with a total gross weight of 2.8 grams,
- two nylon packages containing cocaine with a total gross weight of 240 grams,
- one nylon package containing pink cocaine “TUSI” with a gross weight of 875 grams,
- two nylon packages containing white ketamine with a gross weight of 875 grams,
- one package containing brown colored methamphetamine with a gross weight of 545 grams and others.
Two more people are wanted for the case. Characteristic of the action of those involved is the range of drugs found and seized, which certifies their intention to cover all the demand of customers – drug users.
