The band in action

Fabricio, the garage manager who was on duty this morning, narrated what happened to the LT8 program “El Primero de la Mañana”. “Six men entered at 9:30 at night. They reduced my partner who is 73 years old. They took him behind a truck, beat him from all sides and then took four cars: a Volkswagen Gol, a Renault Duster, a Ford Focus and a Fiat Toro. This is the first time something like this has happened to us. We have heard of incidents in other garages, but something like this has never happened to us.”

Fabricio said that at the time the robbery occurred there was little movement on the street. “When they close the workshop and the tire shop on the block, the movement is reduced, although there is still something left at that time.” The garage employee believed that the thieves took those vehicles “because they had the keys more at hand. There were more keys and they only took those. It seems to me that it was half a boleo. There was a Gol loaded with merchandise and they took another Gol that they left abandoned five blocks away. They did not choose cars, because there were more expensive vehicles to take away and they took those paintings,” he added.

The garage manager from now on the garage managers are considering working “without the keys of the clients. That can harm us a little, but we think about security. My partner had a very bad time because of how they beat him. Six were the ones who entered the garage and there was one more who stayed outside in a Fiat Siena.”
