A gamer turned a mini-nuke into a PC to play Fallout | Games

A user under The Fallout Collector built his own PC using a small nuclear bomb from the Fallout Anthology Collector’s Edition as a case. The gamer demonstrated the operation of the device on the channel in TikTok.

The basis of the PC was the NUC – a miniature kit with a small form factor from Intel. To connect peripherals, the craftsman added USB connectors, as well as a power button on the bottom of the warhead. For cooling, he used one cooler located above the motherboard in the top section of the bomb. The computer runs on Windows 10 Pro and has a custom BIOS.

The gamer tested the PC on Fallout games: the original isometric RPGs, as well as the part with the subtitle New Vegas, work without problems at 30 FPS. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim showed the same result. However, the player has encountered problems launching Fallout 3, including overheating of the device – he hopes to fix the problem following improving the build.
