Heir to the Jordanian throne, future head of the Hashemite dynasty and descendant of the Prophet Muhammad: Prince Hussein has his fate sealed and this Thursday he is preparing to take the big step towards the altar, in what many have called “the wedding of the year”.
Prince Hussein, 29, is in the focus of international public attention for his wedding with his girlfriend Rajwa Al Said, the future queen of Jordan.

Highlighting his commitment to international issues, Prince Hussein, at the age of 20, became the youngest person to chair a United Nations Security Council session in April 2015. In May 2017, he delivered a welcome address during a session of the World Economic Forum that took place on the Jordanian shores of the Dead Sea.

Hussein’s education began at the Choueifat International School in Amman, Jordan, as well as at the Amman International Academy. Subsequently, he completed his secondary studies at King’s Academy.
On the other hand, he completed his military training at the prestigious Sandhurst Royal Military Academy, just like Princes William and Harry.
Following his studies at Sandhurst, Prince Hussein, who currently holds the rank of captain in the Jordanian Armed Forces, earned his BA in International History from Georgetown University in the United States.
Coincidentally, his future wife also graduated from the United States, where she completed her higher education. The 28-year-old herself received her high school education in Saudi Arabia before moving to New York to study at Syracuse University’s College of Architecture.
