You have probably understood that the pace of betas of future operating systems is accelerating. A week after the third public release of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and tvOS 17, the fourth is live. It incorporates the new features of the sixth developer beta released last night.

This public version notably changes the order of the buttons on the phone call screen (yes, an iPhone can be used as a phone, incredible) and obviously prefigures the final version of the various systems, expected in September. The date for iOS 17 should be September 18, and tvOS 17 is likely to follow the same path. Last year iPadOS 17 was a bit behind schedule, but it seems to be running alongside the iPhone version this year, without all the Stage Manager issues.

For macOS Sonoma, there is no beta tonight, because the Mac system evolves bimonthly and should be released a little later, like every year.
