PlayStation gets a makeover through cinema. We knew that the video game branch of Sony had a major interest in the field of the big and small screen by announcing the production of 3 films and 7 series drawn from its franchises.

between the movie Uncharted and the HBO series produced around The Last of Us, Naughty Dog fans especially have something to rejoice about. A message posted by the PlayStation France twitter account could even indicate the return of one of the studio’s most cult games.

Using a model seen in The Last of Us

As part of the movie release Uncharted with Tom Holland, PlayStation Productions has proposed a new animation presenting several iconic characters of the platform. In this 20-second Marvel-style animated clip, we can guess the presence of Nathan Drake, Kratos, Atreus, Ratchet & Clank, Aloy, Astro, Sackboy, Jin Sakai… but also Joel and Ellie.

So far, nothing surprising to find the famous duo of survivors whose story has moved us so much. However, one detail of the animation did not fail to surprise us: the models of the two characters are taken from the first The Last of Us. This choice appears curious, whereas the most recent released game, The Last of Us Part II, features the protagonists in an older version. Could this indicate a remake of the duo’s first adventures?

Three projects in development on PS5
