A first generation iPhone sold for nearly 40,000 euros at auction

The very first phone from the Apple brand has just set a new record. Indeed, an online auction organized by the American company LCG Auctions resulted in a remarkable sale: that of a first generation iPhone for nearly 40,000 €.

The iPhone 2G is from 2007, with a capacity of 8 GB and still in its original packaging, had the following description: “This factory sealed first generation example is in exceptional condition. The reverse side tags are properly immaculate under the plastic. New, never activated, collectors and investors would be hard pressed to find such a good quality example.”

A golden opportunity for holders of Apple products in blister packs.

This sale also makes it possible to measure the extent of the developments developed by Apple in fifteen years.
