December 25 will not only mark Tom Brady’s first Christmas on the pitch, but also his first without his children, following his divorce from Gisele Bündchen.
“It will be a new experience that I will never have had and I will have to learn to deal with it,” he confessed during a SiruisXM podcast on Monday.
“I’m going to learn how to handle Christmas. Even if it’s in a hotel room,” he added.
“I’m still going to have to go out there and be a professional and then be looking forward to seeing my kids the next day,” the 45-year-old concluded.
Tom Brady and his ex-wife, Brazilian model Gisele Büdhcen, announced their divorce via their social media last October, following a 13-year marriage.
Their two children, Vivian Lake, 10, and Benjamin Rein, 13, will spend the holidays in shared custody.
They also took advantage of a stay in Brazil with their mothers in the last few days.
“Recharge with my little ones in the land of my heart,” Bündchen, 42, wrote in an Instagram post.
