Long associated with cars of exquisite styling and heady performance, the DBS nameplate has been attached to some of Aston Martin’s best flagships.
Since 2018, the DBS has been at the top of Aston Martin’s series production range; a Twin-Turbo V12 powerplant blessed with fierce performance and unmatched styling.
With production of this current generation DBS drawing to a close, Aston Martin is proud to present a DBS that surpasses all others; the DBS 770 Ultimate.
As its name suggests, the DBS 770 Ultimate is an emphatic last word. The most powerful production Aston Martin ever, and the fastest and most powerful DBS to date, extensive design and engineering improvements ensure the DBS 770 Ultimate is an unforgettable and highly collectible celebration of Aston Martin’s flagship Super GT. .
Available in both Coupé and Volante versions, the DBS770 Ultimate will be produced in strictly limited numbers: 300 Coupés and 199 Volantes, and all examples will be sold before launch.
The DBS 770 Ultimate features a ferocious iteration of Aston Martin’s four-cam 60-degree 5.2-litre V12 engine.
Now developing 770bhp at 6500rpm and colossal 900Nm torque from just 1800rpm to 5000rpm, powering the DBS 770 Ultimate to a top speed of 211mph, this magnificent engine benefits from modified air and ignition paths along with a 7% increase in maximum turbo boost pressure.
Precise tuning of power and torque curves gives the driver a sense of performance without limits, with a heady combination of exceptional response, exceptional off-the-move acceleration and the authentic V12 soundtrack.
Power is fed through a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and a rear-mounted mechanical Limited Slip Differential (LSD).
Additionally, DBS 770 Ultimate receives a unique transmission calibration to improve shift speeds and driver interaction, contributing to a truly connected driving experience.
Such is the inherent capability of Aston Martin’s Carbon Ceramic Braking (CCB) system that the DBS 770 Ultimate uses the same 410mm x 38mm front discs and 360mm x 32mm rear discs as the DBS.
To further enhance the direct nature of the steering response and increase the level of detailed feedback, the DBS 770 Ultimate features a new solidly mounted steering column, allowing the driver to enjoy a more precise connection to the road, feeling what the front tires do. with the utmost confidence and accurately measure the available grip.
Integral to achieve the engaging character and increased steering feel of the DBS 770 Ultimate, front lateral stiffness has been improved by 25% to provide maximum performance feel and response.
This increase has been achieved with an improved front cross member and thicker rear bottom plate, which also increases overall torsional rigidity by 3% for perfectly balanced driving dynamics.
Enhancements have also been made to the Adaptive Damping System (ADS), DBS 770 Ultimate, which receives exclusive damper calibration and software tuning that focus on control and composure without compromising ride quality.
By enhancing driver connection and preserving the unmistakable continent-crossing character of DBS, the DBS 770 Ultimate takes Aston Martin’s exemplary Super GT to even greater heights.
Just as the DBS 770 Ultimate was refined mechanically, its appearance was also amplified to present assertive design and a unique, uncompromising aesthetic befitting a final edition model created to celebrate the end of an era.
Being an Aston Martin, this improved form also had to possess a true level of function. Both to provide greater air flow to the radiators, enhancing thermal management and to give greater visual presence on the road.
Drawing increased airflow through the engine’s radiators, the clamshell bonnet features a dramatic ‘horseshoe’ shaped engine vent and a new front splitter integrates two new exterior air vents. Together these serve to improve cooling and echo the design signatures of previous DBS and V12 engine models.
Other detailed design changes to the DBS 770 Ultimate include 2×2 twill carbon fiber Cantrail, windshield surround, mirror caps and fenders as standard.
A new carbon fiber sill element visually lowers the side profile towards the rear wheel, creating a balanced stance that accentuates the DBS’s muscular physique.
A unique rear diffuser design maintains front-to-rear aerodynamic balance and ensures that the DBS 770 Ultimate is as unmistakable from behind as it is from the front.
The DBS 770 Ultimate is further distinguished by a unique new 21” wheel style available in three finishes.
Drawing inspiration from the formidable Aston Martin Valkyrie and Victor, this new 21” multi-spoke design is available in a full Satin Silver finish for a sparkling jewel-like look, a full Satin Black finish for a contemporary and sporty look, or optional Satin Black with Diamond finish. Turned to give a darker yet sophisticated appearance to the car. Pirelli P Zero high-performance tyres, 265/35 R21 at the front and 305/30 R21 at the rear, are standard equipment on all wheels.
Inside, the DBS 770 Ultimate revels in a dazzling array of new design treatments that set it apart, while retaining the instantly recognizable cabin ambiance of today’s DBS.

“When a generation of iconic models reaches the end of production, it’s important to mark the occasion with something special. In the case of the DBS 770 Ultimate, we have spared no effort to ensure that the final version of our current series production flagship is the best in every respect.
Not only is it the fastest and most powerful DBS ever, thanks to a comprehensive set of improvements to the transmission, steering, suspension and underbody structure; He is also the best to drive.”
Marek Reichman, Aston Martin Creative Director, adds: “DBS has always sat at the top of Aston Martin’s production model lineup.
And now we’re infusing DBS 770 Ultimate with even more… more power, more purity of performance, and all with more sophistication, more taste, and in the most thoughtful way.
Something so raw and yet so beautiful it’s almost intimidating to watch. It is through this design approach that we came up with the shapes, starting with the amplified front end, and from there everything else flows in design balance with performance enhancements.”
Production of the DBS 770 Ultimate is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2023, with the first deliveries scheduled to begin during the third quarter of 2023.
