The parliamentary representative for the socialist team in the House of Representatives, Nozha Abakrim, denounced the disruption of the interests of male and female citizens and their harm due to the serious confusion witnessed in the administrative services in the various facilities of the territorial communities in Morocco, since March 12, 2024.

In a written question addressed to Interior Minister Abdel Wafi Laftit, the parliamentarian revealed that this confusion “missed many citizens opportunities to prepare files for the purpose of submitting them to obtain benefits linked to specific dates that cannot be postponed.”

Regarding the reasons for this confusion, Abakrim linked it to “the guardian ministry’s failure to respond to the requests for quadripartite union coordination to resume sectoral dialogue, which were submitted on January 25, February 2 and 14, 2024,” noting that this matter “prompted these unions to call for a series of The strikes witnessed a great response in various parts of the Kingdom.”

The same spokeswoman stressed that “the disruption of Moroccan communities has had a negative impact on most of the administrative facilities related to carrying out the various purposes of citizens who visit them.”

Accordingly, the member of the socialist team asked regarding the reasons for the Ministry of Interior not responding to the requests for quadripartite union coordination to resume sectoral dialogue. She also asked regarding the measures that have been taken to protect the interests of citizens so that they are not harmed and their interests are lost due to the cessation of the collective public utility.

In addition, the parliamentarian asked regarding the steps that the Ministry, the guardian of the sector, will take to provide justice to the employees and users of the territorial communities and respond to their legitimate demands as soon as possible.
