A father collapsed and died following seeing his son being beaten by the bus crew in Ernakulam Paravur. Fazaluddin died on the east side of Fort Kochi Chullikal Karivelipadi. The incident happened last night at 7:30 am. Fazaluddin and his son, who were traveling in the car, had an argument regarding giving side to the bus.
The incident happened at 7.45 last night. Fazaluddin’s son Farhan was driving the car. The Narmada bus on Kozhikode Vaytila route hit the side glass of the car when it overtook it at high speed. Then Farhan stopped in front of the bus and questioned this. After this, there was a verbal dispute and it led to fistfights. Meanwhile, the bus staff took a knife and was regarding to stab Farhan. Farhan blocked the punch with his hand. Seeing this, Fazaluddin collapsed and died. He was rushed to Taluk Hospital but his life might not be saved. After the incident, the bus crew left the place. The process to take them into custody is in progress.
