A fan embroiders the map of Zelda: A Link to the Past – Almost a year and a half of work and 128,164 cross stitches! -Nintendo

We continue our series “the fans are brilliant” with the discovery of a beautiful work (it is the case to say it) carried out by a certain oldmanchadly. This is a magnificent embroidery faithfully reproducing the map of The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Pastthe unforgettable Zelda of the Super Nintendo. Close to 1 year and five months were needed to make this community-acclaimed ornament, with a progression spanning over 400 days et 128,164 cross stitches (it’s very precise.) A titanic work (not to say a real cross-stitch path) that you can measure by consulting the instagram page d’oldmanchadly on which you will find different shots of the tapestry at different times. After this feat, oldmanchadly does not intend to stop in such a good way since it plans to embroider the same card, Dark version. However, we will have to be patient since he will only get started in 2024. Before that, he will tackle a Pokémon project with a personalized model…

While waiting to discover this new project, do not hesitate to tell us what you think of this embroidery of Legend in comments. Also, don’t hesitate to take a look at the Reddit page d’oldmanchadly
