A famous journalist defends Saad Lamjarred: I console a brother from whom I have felt nothing but respect

After the French Criminal Court issued a decision in the case of Saad Lamjarred, and his accusation by Laura Priolle of raping her in a hotel in the French capital, in 2016, a large number of artists and media professionals defended Saad, the most prominent of whom was the journalist Mustafa Al-Agha, who was surprised by the criticism and attack once morest Saad Lamjarred on the communication sites, and depicting him as a “humanoid beast”.

In the details, Mustafa Al-Agha posted on his account via Instagram, a picture that he collected with Saad Lamjarred and his mother, during their visit to Al-Agha’s house, where he attached the picture to the following comment: “We do not interfere with judicial rulings, we do not question, we do not accuse, and we do not talk regarding theories … an attack that I did not witness.” In my life, a young man (even if he made a mistake, knowledge is with God alone and with those concerned), but that even those who knew him closely, those who heard his songs, and those who greeted him and portrayed him as (a human beast) are accused, and God is a lot.

Al-Agha continued: “They say you do not know him and were not with him, well, do you know him and were with him?? I know him well and I received him in my house with his family several times and he would not have entered my house if I doubted for a moment that he is not worthy of that, and no matter how much you see a mistake, there is a God Forgiving, Merciful, All-Knowing, but just as you allowed yourself to attack him even before the appealable decision was issued, allow others to stand with him. I sat with them for a long time.

Mustafa Al-Agha concluded his speech by saying: “Be kind to human beings, O human beings. Imagine if your son made a mistake, would you not stand with him?”
