A famous Egyptian YouTuber was fined for molesting a girl

Today, Sunday, the Economic Court in Egypt fined the Egyptian YouTuber Ahmed Hassan for harassing a girl via electronic conversations, with a sum of 20,000 Egyptian pounds.

Investigations into the incident proved that YouTuber Ahmed Hassan was involved in harassing a girl through a WhatsApp conversation, hours following he announced his need for a girl to star in a short film, and then harassed her, in addition to his request to obtain private photos from her.

Investigations also indicated that by tracing the phone number presented in the communication, it became clear that the accused, Ahmed Hassan, was the owner of the chip that was used in the incident.

A visit to his own home

The Egyptian Public Prosecution had ordered the referral of Ahmed Hassan to the Economic Court, following one of the girls appeared in a video clip broadcast on a social networking site, accusing him of harassment by requesting that she come with him to his private home.

The girl also explained, during the video clip circulating at the time, that she saw an advertisement for YouTuber Ahmed Hassan, in which it stated: “A girl from 20 to 35 years of age needs a short film.. Who wants to participate send photos and age in a message.”

She added that during her conversation with YouTuber Ahmed Hassan, she was “surprised by his words, which are verbal harassment, and during that time he demanded to send private pictures and refused to do so.”

Denial.. and forgery

On the other hand, Ahmed Hassan, accompanied by his wife, Zainab Ward, appeared in a similar video clip and denied all the accusations once morest him, saying: “It is possible for anyone to visit any conversation,” and reviewed a number of fake screenshots, stressing that anyone can do so.

It is noteworthy that Ahmed Hassan and his wife became famous during the last period in Egypt, by presenting videos on social networking sites reviewing their private lives, and they were able to achieve wide fame from those videos.

The duo in Egypt sparked widespread controversy because of these videos, and among them was a video that caused their imprisonment, specifically on September 17, 2020; Accusing them of using their daughter to film videos to profit through pranks that endanger her life, following they appeared in the video intimidating their daughter in order to achieve views.

At that time, the Egyptian Public Prosecution attributed charges to Hassan and his wife, including human trafficking, publishing offensive videos, and exploiting a child for financial profit.
