She began her career in the world of dance in 1980, and joined the Reda Troupe for Folklore when she was only 15 years old.
She is the dancer Dina, one of the most prominent Egyptian artists who stirred a great controversy in the Egyptian street, whether in her artistic or personal life, and she is considered one of the best dancers in the Arab world,
She has a great place in the hearts of belly dance lovers, to the extent that the American magazine Newsweek called her “the last Egyptian dancer”, and her love for belly dancing made her bury her fiancé in the morning and dance at night.
Dina entered the field of acting, during the movie “Al-Bandira” with Mervat Amin and Izzat Al-Alayli, and then continued her cinematic work, and she has many cinematic works, including the movie The Tea Seller,

The artist married Dina 7 times, started by businessman Samir Abdullah, and the marriage continued in secret for several years, and then she married director Sameh Al-Bagouri, from whom she gave birth to her only son, “Ali”.
Then she got married 3 times from outside the artistic community, and customarily to businessman Hossam Aboul Fotouh for more than 5 years, and no one knew him until following the scandal of the famous sex movie.
Our sex movie with Aboul Fotouh is considered one of the most famous scandals, witnessed by the artistic community in the era of the late President Mubarak.
At the time, rumors claimed that the leak of the video was in retaliation for the famous businessman Hossam Aboul Fotouh, who criticized the business of Mubarak’s two sons, “Alaa and Gamal”, in his secret meetings and communications.
In this famous incident, Dina waived the accusation of Aboul Fotouh by photographing her naked, in an unexpected surprise. The court then acquitted him of his accusation of photographing some naked women, and the court ordered the execution of the seized pictures and tapes.
Dina revealed in television interviews that she buried her fiancé and her deceased lover in the morning, then went on the same day to dance at night, and said at the time that the artist must separate her personal life from the whole world, especially the time of her work.
With regard to the scandal of the sex movie, Dina confirmed during her hosting of the “Hakhbayya” program on the “MBC” channel.
She is never ashamed of her famous sex movie with Hossam Aboul Fotouh, and she does not care regarding its spread on the Internet, because, as she says, she did not make a mistake, noting that her son “Omar” will not object to that because she raised him on her ideas.
She added that the circulating sexual video was considered the biggest “blunder” of her entire life, adding that she “did not make a mistake because he was her husband at the time.
