A woman discovers at her son’s wedding in China that his future wife was actually her long-lost daughter. The woman was reportedly able to identify her daughter, who had been separated from her for many years, by a birthmark on her hand on the day of the ceremony.
During the event, which was held on March 31 in the Chinese city of Suzhou, the groom’s mother noticed on his fiancée’s hand a birthmark exactly like that of her daughter, who was lost when she was young and never returned once more. It has been cut off since then.
Excited and full of doubts, the “mother-in-law” approaches the bride’s parents to see if the young woman has been adopted. The question shocked the couple, as this was a secret kept for years in the family.
It turned out that their daughter had already been adopted regarding 20 years ago, when they found her near the road. Upon discovering this, the bride might not contain her tears and confirmed that meeting her biological mother was a “happier” event than the engagement itself.
The bride and her biological mother were seen crying and embracing each other during the surprise encounter, Times News Now reported.
It is noteworthy that the wedding ceremony took place following the mother confirmed that she had adopted her son and that she did so following losing hope of finding her biological daughter, which means that the spouses do not have any kinship relationship.
