A donor sponsored the payment of 10 thousand and 488 dirhams in the treatment costs (Abuhani – Masri – 42 years old), who has been suffering from diabetes since 2018, high pressure and cholesterol, in addition to suffering from heart problems, which necessitated a catheterization operation and the installation of stents.
The patient needs to keep taking his medications to control his health condition, but he was unable to provide their cost, amounting to 27 thousand and 234 dirhams (for a period of six months).
The “hotline” coordinated between the donor and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, to transfer the value of the donation to the patient’s account at Sheikh Khalifa City Hospital in Ajman.
The patient expressed his deep thanks to the donor for his quick response to his call, and his generous standing with him in light of the difficult circumstances he is going through, stressing that “this is not strange for the people of the UAE who love to do good.”
On the third of March, Emirates Al-Youm published the story of (Abu Hani), after he had diabetes, and the health problems that caused him, including high pressure and cholesterol, in addition to his heart health problems, which necessitated a catheterization operation and the installation of stents.
Despite the patient’s need to keep taking his medications to control his health, he was unable to afford them. He was also unable to follow the diet recommended by the doctor to control his high blood sugar.
The patient said, “The cost of heart, pressure, and high cholesterol medications, in addition to medications for diabetes, amounts to 27,234 dirhams, for a period of six months, and I am completely unable to provide any part of this amount, because I have been unemployed for eight months, and I get help.” Money from one of my friends to provide the basic needs of the house in terms of food and drink.
