As part of the search for the disappearance of Madeleine Mccann, the British newspaper The Sun published that Documentalists and former investigators working on his whereregardings discovered “shocking evidence and indications” once morest the main suspect who is serving a sentence for rape.
The new data, which has already been delivered to the detectives who carry out the case, would reveal that Christian Brueckner he is the author of the crime and of the disappearance of the minor under 3 years of age in 2007, when he was traveling with his family in Portugal. The German has a history of pedophilia and is in prison for rape.
The investigation fell on the 44-year-old man in June 2020, when it became known that he was very close to the place where the girl was with her family when they enjoyed the holidays in Praia da Luz, Algarve, Portugal.
Brueckner is already serving one 7-year sentence for the rape of a 72-year-old American woman in 2005, two years before Madelaine’s disappearance. The detectives of the case indicated that the man has 17 causes related to this crime, from assaults, robberies and drug-related matters, to sexual abuse and rape. His first sentence was received when he was 17 years old.
“The sad story of Madeleine McCann is a story that has many German chapters,” remarked the editor-in-chief, while adding that “in her environment there are many German women and men who can describe individual details around the crime.”
Madeleine has been missing for more than 15 years and only in 2020, with the turn that the case took following naming a suspect, was it possible to advance with the investigation that still has various routes without closing. At the moment the case remains in the Braunschweig Regional Court.
