A doctorate was awarded with distinction to a researcher from Port Said 3 months after her death.. Video

A car accident in which an outstanding researcher from Port Said fell into a coma for 8 months, following which she died, but her dreams of obtaining a doctorate did not die.

The Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University decided to honor the researcher and a faculty member by discussing her PhD thesis despite her death 3 months ago.

Dr. Adela Ragab, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Economics, stated that the researcher Shaima Al-Sayed Fadel Al-Zalat had finished writing the thesis before the accident, and only the results of the research remained from it, so her colleagues in the department and her professors completed the rest of the thesis to discuss it when their colleague woke up from the coma, but she left About our world before you discuss it.

Therefore, the Dean of the College decided, in honor of the late researcher and the importance of the thesis, to set a date to discuss her thesis, which was titled: “Green Growth Policies and Their Impact on the Energy Sector in Egypt.” Indeed, the discussion committee met and praised the thesis and suggested awarding her a Ph.D. degree with an excellent rating.
