Al-Marsad newspaper: The Russian doctor, Madinat Rajabova, from the National Cancer Research Center, revealed that hoarseness and enlarged lymph nodes are the initial signs of thyroid cancer.
The specialist notes that the risk of developing thyroid cancer increases in people who live in areas with iodine deficiency, exposure to radiation, goiter nodes and the presence of other malignant tumors.
And she adds, it is very difficult to diagnose infection in the early stages, but later on, signs of infection appear in the form of hoarseness, difficulty swallowing food, enlarged lymph nodes, and an enlargement under the Adam’s apple.
The specialist advises, to prevent thyroid cancer, consult a specialist from time to time and conduct an ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland and a blood analysis to determine the level of hormones.
