Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Alexander Myasnikov revealed the drugs that cause hair loss, saying that antibiotics and blood pressure lowering drugs can cause hair loss.

Myasnikov explained that the loss of regarding 20 percent of the hair is a sign of baldness, indicating that the use of cholesterol-lowering drugs, high blood pressure lowering drugs, anticonvulsants, antibiotics and stomach diseases drugs are among the causes of hair loss, according to “Novosti Agency”.

He continued, “Women often suffer from hair loss due to a lack of iron and proteins in the diet, as hair falls out due to infectious and chronic diseases, stress and thyroid diseases.”
