Leung Jingru was on a tour in mainland China recently, but unexpectedly, there was a dispute over the concert, and her fans were so angry that they sued the court.

Jingru Leung held a concert in Shanghai in May this year. Some fans complained that her position at the concert had poor visibility. There was a large pillar blocking the front. Afterwards, when the fans reported to the organizer, they received a response that “they did not know the stage design in advance.” The fans were furious. Go to court.

The case was heard on the 15th of this month. Nine plaintiffs sued the concert organizer. The fans demanded that the organizer refund the full amount of the tickets and pay triple punitive damages of 3,897 yuan (approximately NT$17,400). and bear the legal costs.

According to “The Paper”, the defendant’s lawyer came forward to explain that firstly, the plaintiff’s evidence might not prove that during the performance, the audience’s perspective was seriously blocked to affect the viewing experience; secondly, the viewing experience of the concert was not entirely determined by sight. Sound effects, lighting, stage settings, etc. cannot be considered a breach of contract just because the singer cannot be seen at a certain moment; third, when selling tickets, they never advertised that the venue had no pillars, nor did they ensure that the viewing angle was not blocked; fourth, the defendant knew the fans I wanted to hear the singer’s voice, but immediately took measures to change seats or refund tickets for the audience who raised objections. About 150 people had their tickets refunded. Fifth, the defendant did not communicate in good faith or propose a solution. On the contrary, , shared the compensation method as soon as possible, gave away a 200 yuan Jingdong card, and there were 100 viewers on site to accept the opinions, which shows that there was no fraud or intention.

In response to this, Liang Jingru’s agent said in an interview with Sanli News Network: “The Shanghai organizer is responsible for the Rubik’s Cube Pan Culture Company, and we respect the organizer’s handling of the matter.”
