Lydia Koniordou, the former Minister of Culture and Sports of Greece and a famous Greek dramatist, not only mentioned her experience of teaching drama in China, but also marveled at the similarities between Chinese and Greek drama culture.

2023 “Hangzhou Liangzhu Day” series activities launched

To commemorate the successful inclusion of Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins in the World Heritage List, July 6th of each year will be set as “Hangzhou Liangzhu Day” from 2020, so as to promote Liangzhu culture into the hearts of more people.

July 6 this year is also the fourth anniversary of the successful application of Liangzhu Ancient City Site as a World Heritage Site. The launching ceremony of the 2023 “Hangzhou Liangzhu Day” event was also held on site.

On display at Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park. With the support of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports, the exhibition features 102 precious archival photos collected by the Acropolis Heritage Conservation Committee and the Acropolis Restoration Committee, demonstrating the contribution of Greek marble technicians to the Acropolis restoration project.
