We were talking regarding it yesterday, when the announcement was to take place on May 26, a Japanese retailer launches the big leak of the day by revealing Trinity Triggerthe new RPG from FuRyu (formerly PROJECT-TRITRI).
A few images and a box of the game confirm the September 15 release in Japan, on PS5, PS4 and especially Nintendo Switch) with, as promised, the return to the atmosphere of action-RPGs of the 90s, with a 3-player cooperation mode. The game having leaked, why keep the demo planned for the announcement under the elbow? FuRyu has therefore released the demo today on the Japanese eShop ud game (easily accessible via our European Nintendo Switch). However, beware of reckless players, the demo is only in Japanese. If you just want to know what the game looks like, here’s the replay of our livestream from yesterday.
For players on Sony consoles, the demo of the PlayStation 4 version costs 100 yen (regarding 1 US dollar), while the Nintendo Switch version is free. This is because the game has yet to be rated and is treated by default as a “CERO Z” title on PlayStation (equivalent to PEGI 18), which requires a credit card purchase. or debit to prove that the user is over 18 years old.
Various information announced around the game:
- The revival of 90s RPG classics for the modern era.
- nostalgic and moving for today’s adults who were children then
- fun for today’s kids
- can be played alone or with others (1 to 3 players)
- plans to generate user interest before release through measures such as demos
- Release planned for the second quarter of 2022
