A delegation from the Socialist Union of Popular Forces is currently on a ten-day visit to countries in Latin America, including Ecuador, Colombia and the Dominican Republic.
During this visit, she will have talks with socialist parties, parliamentary groups and civil society, during which she will address the issue of the Moroccan Sahara and the defense of territorial integrity, in addition to bilateral relations.
The USFP delegation is composed of Khaoula Lachguar, member of the Political Bureau, vice-president of the Socialist International and coordinator of foreign affairs of the party, Machij Al-Qarqari, member of the Political Bureau and responsible for relations with African and Latin parties -Americans, Aïcha El Gourgi, member of the Political Bureau and of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, as well as Ayoub Hachemi, coordinator of the MENA-Latina network and member of the Foreign Affairs Secretariat.
The socialist delegation will address the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, and the improvements made to Morocco’s democratic process and its achievements in terms of human rights and development.
This visit by the party’s delegation is part of the USFP’s 2023 program and reflects the dynamism of the party on an international scale. The Rose Party will also sign a partnership and cooperation agreement with the Ecuadorian Socialist Party, which is one of the largest and oldest left-wing parties in this country.
The delegation will also meet with the ruling coalition in Colombia, made up of the Liberal Party and the Green Alliance, and will visit the Capitol and the presidential complex.
Therefollowing, she will visit the headquarters of the ruling party and the presidential complex in the Dominican Republic, and then meet with the parliamentary groups at the headquarters of the Parliament.
