At least two people died and five others were injured in a shooting that broke out in a Los Angeles park on Sunday followingnoon.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said in the early evening that four men and three women had been taken to hospital following this event. At least three of them were hit by bullets.
A little before 4 p.m., at least one individual allegedly opened fire at Peck Park, where a car show was taking place.
In the early evening, the Los Angeles police assured that the shooting was no longer in progress.

An investigation was launched by the authorities who confirmed having seized several weapons.
LAPD News/Update: Our Detectives are working on a crime scene at Peck Park in the 500 Block of Western Av. There are no public safety concerns at this time. The park will remain closed for hrs until the preliminary investigation is complete.

The police believe that it might be a confrontation between gangs which degenerated.
