1564 Galileo Galilei is born in Pisa, Italian Renaissance astronomer, philosopher, mathematician and physicist, considered “father of modern astronomy”.
1710 Louis XV, king of France between 1715 and 1774, is born. Known as “The Well Beloved.”
1762 The mail between Monterrey and Mexico City begins to operate, with postal service.
1775 Born in the Valle de las Labores, today Ramos Arizpe, Coah. Miguel Ramos Arizpe, defender of federalism and precursor of the free municipality, whom Congress declared Benemérito de la Patria.

1913 The Minister of Spain in Mexico, Cloguen, meets with President Madero to request his resignation, on behalf of the diplomatic corps accredited in Mexico.
1925 Julián Carrillo premieres at the Teatro Principal, El sonido 13, which breaks with the traditional musical system, based on 12 sounds.
1949 Francisco Maturana, Colombian footballer and technical director, is born; recognized for being a member of Atlético Nacional de Medellín that won the first Copa Libertadores for a Colombian club.
